On the 19th of December it was announced by Fort Mason Center that West 8 has won the design competiton for the 5.3 hectare waterfront campus in San Francisco. In their design West 8 calls for seven key strategies that bolster and preserve Fort Mason’s legacy and military identity while activating the water’s edge. -

At 11am it was officially opened by Patrick Buck, director of Prorail, Jeannette Baljeu, alderman at the municipality of Rotterdam, and Michiel Noy director of NS. -

Official opening Jubilee Gardens by Queen Elizabeth II 25-10-2012
Her Majesty the Queen, Elizabeth II, visited Jubilee Gardens on London's Southbank to officially open the new gardens on the 25th of October. A plaque was unveiled to commemorate her visit to the Gardens which were completed just in time for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee last May. -
