A First Look at the Newly Completed Hills on Governors Island
08-07-2016Take a stunning flyover of "The Hills", which opened to the public on July 19. The culmination of West 8's award-winning Governors Island Park and Public Space Master, the Hills are constructed largely out of the island's recycled debris and rubble. The four Hills, rising 25 to 70 feet above the Island, offer unparalleled views of the New York skyline, the Statue of Liberty and New York Harbor.
