Blooming construction site at the KWR Watercycle Research Institute
09-09-2015This summer, Nieuwegein's bees and butterflies could enjoy themselves on the blooming construction site of the KWR Watercycle Research Institute. Although most of the land still looks recently plowed, the first contours of the West 8 landscape design are now clearly recognizable. The ecological garden by West 8 will complement the innovative building, designed by Cepezed, to which the institute moved at the beginning of 2015. Both garden and building capitalize on sustainability in their design, suiting the research institute's primary goals. The official opening of the new residende of the KWR and its surroundings will take place on September 18th this year.
