Depoldering Noordwaard project explained in 3 minutes
24-03-2016This short video clip explains the Noordwaard 'Room for the River' project. Since completion of the project in 2015 the River Rhine has been given more room at over 30 locations along its course. This multi-scale project has also improved the overall environmental quality of the region. West 8 was involved in one of sub-projects within this programme: 'Depoldering Noordwaard' and designed the 30 bridges and pumping stations together with IPV Delft.
