West 8 features in City After The City Exhibition at La Triennale di Milano
29-06-2016On the occasion of the XXI Triennale di Milano International Exposition, the Expo Milan 2015 area houses the exhibition named City after the City. The City after the City exhibitions, which form an authentic string of events, present a succession of situations that illustrate a longing for a different kind of city.
West 8's Madrid Río and Governors Island project feature in a the Landscape Urbanism exhibition curated by Gaia Piccarolo. This exhibition showcases a preview of the effects of planning through a prefiguration of landscape: the ecological paradigm, the aestheticization of the urban landscape, urban regeneration and landscape design.

A closer look at the Millennium Mills, London
06-06-2016The Docklands’ iconic Millennium Mills is being transformed for the 21st century. The visionary scheme by Fletcher Priest, AHMM, West 8, Benoy & Feilden Clegg Bradley will transform this 11-story former flour mill into a host of flexible city units supported by a thriving community. The mill closed in the early 1980s, along with most other industry in the Royal Docks. It has remained derelict ever since. This interview with Ms Oboh, Marketing Director of Silvertown Partnership, offers a closer look into the regeneration project. Longwood’s Main Fountain Garden Greening Up
02-06-2016The American Institute of Architects Educational Tour at Longwood Main Fountain Garden took place on May 18, led by West 8 Principal Claire Agre, Richard Southwick of BBB Architecture and Jim Garland of Fluidity Design. Attendees saw firsthand how the first phase of the soft landscaping is starting to take shape, with the delivery and installation of the first of over 2500 Boxwoods and 150 large caliper linden trees on site. Planting is schedule to continue until October 2016.
